Squeaky noise
Hi
My disco3 is making a squeaky/whistle noise from the front drivers wheel. It doesn't happen all the time but more so if I'm on a long journey. It seems to stop when you turn left!!! There's no warning lights on the dash and it's he a service and no issues were raised then.
Anyone got an idea of what it could be??
Thanks

Try a sticking brake pad, caliper slider bolt or maybe a wheel bearing?

The wheel bearings were done 6 weeks ago, both sides.

That should rule them out as hopefully they last longer that that! Get the wheel off, pads out and make sure they are free and with a little copper grease on the contact points, also give the sliding bolts a work out, doesn't sound anything more than that and should be an easy fix

I had whistling noise coming from the front wheels too some months ago - found the rubber on the air spring cracked, caused by age probably (2005) - after I lowered by Faultmate the vehicle to the minimal level. More noticeable when offroad - humps, stones...Compressor worked more offten, during night affected side lower than other corners. Cheers
