Dimmer Wire

Hi!

Is there a dimmer wire near the dash board which I could splice my accessory simmer wire into so it dims out the LED of the accessory when car is not on.

The Illumination level of all the dash components is controlled by an output from the Light Switch module that has the dimmer on it. It is PWM based and goes to everything on the dash.

Easy to spot on the vehicles circuit diagram Thumbs Up

would it be under "INSTRUMENT CLUSTER AND PANEL ILLUMINATION" in the manual?. If it is apparently there is a red and brown wire at the back of the sat nav unit. I'll open up console see if i can find it tomorrow.
