It could well be that your phone is not compatible with the car. I had similar with a VW. Go to the Land Rover website and somewhere you will find a 25 page list of phones that are compatible. As my phone was due for an upgrade, I picked one from the list and the phone book worked first time. I would recommend the Carphone Warehouse (certainly my local one) who leaned over backwards to be helpful, even coming out to the car (parked outside the shop) to make sure everything was working correctly.

Apologies if you already know this, but you also need to enable contact list access via Bluetooth on your BlackBerry - by default it only enables hands-free Bluetooth functionality. I had this problem but enabled it easily in the BBlackBerry Bluetooth settings...

You will need a upgrade on the Bluetooth module software ... Phone book over Bluetooth only came standard in 2008

Check out my Bluetooth exchange post in site sponsers section

No it's a d3 module exchange ... So it's identical and easy swap

I sell the D4 modules outright
