Wipers and PDC

Juat getting used to my D3 after some years with a 38a.
My D3 has rain sense wipers but the delay rotary thimble on the column stalk seems to have no effect, the wipe rate is substantially unchanged. Is this correct if so can I disable rain sensing.
I have PDC front and rear which sometimes works but most of the time the light on the switch flashes and sensing does not work. Any common faults I should look for before going and paying for a diagnostic test.
Thanks

As far as I know the rotary switch for the wipers adjusts the sensitivity of the auto wipers, not the speed. You'll find it in the manual or on Topix.
Hope this helps.

Thanks migster I realise that the rotary switch alters the sensitivity and I assumed that the result would have been an increase or decrease of the delay between strokes, in a similar way to old delay wipe without rain sensing. Can anyone tell me if this is the case if so I have a problem to get sorted.
Thanks

Mine alters the sensitivity - but it does seem to make a huge amount of difference!
