weird electrical happenings.......on occasion!

Hi Guy's, having sorted my gearbox selection issue (thanks to those who suggested the circlip! It was Smile ) I decided to treat the old bus to its annual service at my local independent. I also took the plunge and went to the local stealer to show him my 10.00 circlip gearbox fault whilst they programmed me a new key fob.

Since the service and ket fob programme........on the odd occasion the radio wont turn off or select any feature, the fuel flap wont open and I get the "bing" noise asociated with seat belt left off, low fuel etc........coupled with on occasion the oil can symbol flashing up and dissappearing..........

Any ideas would be appreciated Confused

Having read through some other threads on the forum, I decided to go and check the rear brake lights..........low and behold LH rear brake light not working!

Am I right in thinking that the rear brake lights and or pedal switch could cause issues on the electrics?

Dont have any bulbs to hand to change it, but could this be my issue?

Most likely. Faulty brake light bulbs seem to cause a multitude of errors.
