EPB Fault
Well as it's stopped raining and I've got some spare time I tackled having a look at my faulty EPB. I've checked it for fault codes ages ago and it kept coming up force sensor fault.
Well I had a right game getting the bolts out the module bracket as the hex heads had corroded, which is to be expected. I flipped the EPB module over and removed the cover and a little surprised to see what is in the attached pictures. The o/s cable is a clip fit to the force sensor, the n/s is a left hand thread fit. As you can see the threaded cable appears to have wound out somehow causing the force sensor to butt up against the module body.
Baffled as to how the cable has wound out I've put it back together and removed the EPB fuse until I've found out the initial set up proceedure for the n/s cable and once that's done I'll try and see if it works.
