Thinking of getting one of these. Many on here seem to have bas, however how does the atric from alive tuning compare please ?

Not sure about the Atric unit.
The BAS one does have some issues.
1. Sore face from the constant grinning
2. Sore arm from Wifely slapping as another car gets left behind at the lights
3.Sore face from the constant grinning
You'll be able to do EGR programming with the BAS unit as well.....

I have the Artic remap, big performance increase and slightly better MPG, slight issue with diesel knock on first program but only pulling up the mountians in Spain towing 3.5 t, Alive did me another remap and mostly sorted again very much reduced knock just audabale, only up the mountains in france again towing 3.5t. Support very good.

I have the atric unit and can say that I am and have been for some time now, very happy.
Gary and the guys are very good to deal with, they know what they are on about and if you want the remap slightly tweeking for your own reason, they will accomodate.
I have one set to very powerful, which smokes like a good'en, but that is my choice and it only smokes when I put my foot down to the floor from a standing start.
Usually best to give the Alive a call as they are usually very busy and sometimes it can take them a while to respond to forum PM's 
I enjoyed the service I received from them so much, I bought all the engine mods for my D3 from them and I will be going for one of their exhaust systems when I can sneak it past the growler d4 HSE in Corris Grey with Black options pack

Alive Tuning Re-map
Alive Atrics console
Samco intercooler hoses (from Alive Tuning)
Alive Tuning De-Cat pipe, lovely tone!
