I would say it's very possible, but much will depend on style of driving, how much towing, off-road, stop-start etc..

I'm averaging over 30mpg without a remap. Depends how you drive I suppose, and where you drive (in town or out and about).

Just done a 400 mile round trip with a t3.5 Iffor Williams trailer plus Countax mower on the back one way and acheived 32 mpg travelling at the legal limit, sometimes over Without a remap, surprised myself, good stuff this 2T oil It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Are you on auto or manual?, we are driving round town like miss daisy and showing 24-26 round town, on the obc, real 22-24 on fill up.
It would appear hat these things are not very economical.
Talk to Pete and be honest about what you rae looking to get from you remp, towing or not power or economy, he'll do his best to accomodate, ive had mine for 2 weeks now, if I drive the same as before pulling away steady and smooth using the extra torque rather than reving the engine to accelerate, I get better MPG
But then I can also put my foot down at 50 - 70 for far better pick up than before and no damage to the MPG Altox GSM FBH controller thread

Most remaps will give you better real world economy................as long as you don't use the extra oooph they also give you. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

I have a BAS remap, on an 09 auto, and its now lovely to drive, but no difference at all in MPG (and it isnt a balls out performance remap). Even driving like miss daisy on the motorway I cant get mine above 29MPG actual (trip comp says 33) I've been running with 2SO for the last 600 miles, and whilst its made the euro4 engine quieter and a bit less smoky on full bore, its made no difference to mpg either.
I'm not saying dont have the remap, as it makes the car much more responsive, but if its just great MPG you're after then the D3 isnt the car to drive

Gone - MY18 D5 HSE - Corris on 22's with Black Pack
Now gone - MY16 D4 SE Tech, Loire Blue, Almond Leather, Privacy, plus some other goodies.
Old - MY12 D4 SDV6 XS Auto - Ipanema Sand with Almond Leather - Plus other niceties, and D4.com sticker
Older - D3 TDV6 XS Auto - Lugano Teal with Almond Leather, 20" Stormers, Shiny Tailpipes, DVD/TV - and obligatory D3 sticker
Ancient - D3 TDV6 S - Tonga with Ebony, 20" Stormers, satnav & DVD
Is that 25 mpg as shown on the D3's computer, or accurately calculated from brimmed tankful to brimmed tankful over a decent distance?
If the former your true MPG is likely to be of the order of 22-23.
It's an auto so expect 1 to 2 MPG worse consumption than a manual. I would have though that a TRUE 25 mpg "around town" isn't too bad in all honesty.
But as already suggested talk to Pete Bell - he is very helpful and very knowledgeable.
Either way adding two stroke oil, as already suggested, costs nothing, is probably advisable & may help MPG.

Bellauto Definetely helping to improve mpg on my manaul, the secret is drive sensible. Because the remap enable the real power of the 2,7tdv6, traveling at 1850rpm at 65 on m4 last weekend( Bristol to London and back) gave me 33mpg measured at the pump and indicated 38 mpg. Also using 2stO and replaced cat- downpipe with strait pipe, the best I got Pre remap and decat was 31mpg.A few mods... and keeping it all running...Faultmate MSV2
MY09EGR's blanked Thanks Bellautos, BAS

Anything from 15 to 18mpg. If mine is reading 20mpg it's usually 17.something in reality.
