Hi
I'm seriously considering buying my first LR. It is possible that I might eventually take it with me to Europe, hence I'd like to hear if someone knows the differences between US and EURO versions of LR3
I'm in particular interested in understanding whether the navi system is the same, would US navi work in Europe and what map system is it using. MB for example has two completely different makes and mapsystems for their navi, Volvo on the other hand has the same for both US and Europe.
Any other info is also more than appreciated.

There isn't much in it TBH..except the price 
There will obviously be some specs that are legally required for different countries e.g. US lighting requirements
Engine specs are different too... no 4.0ltr V6 in Europe ..no diesel option in the US (yet)

I'd be sure to verify in writing that LR UK will honor vehicle warranties sold by LR NA, just in case.  Also, I bet you'll forfeit the free scheduled maintenance that's included with new LR purchases in US during warranty period.
