I have searched the board and found very little conclusive information regarding the fitment of BFG AT's in size 285/65-18.
Has anyone fit this size to an LR3 or is it to large of a tyre? Gary

I think you will find that the 285/65-18 tyre will rub the wheel arch...a few members have theirs shod with the slightly smaller Cooper STT 275/65/18 and they have rubbed 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Thanks for the info, I really like the BFG AT's and was hoping to be able to fit them to the LR3, but I do not want serious rubbing issues as I do lots of trails.
Maybe BFG will come out with a tad smaller size sometime soon... Gary

Any info on the BFG A/T in 265/65-18 at 31.7" Diameter? This seems like a size similar to the Nitto 285/60-16 at 31.4" Dia. Gary

My 265/70/17 MTs are 31.6" diameter. There is a slight rubbing on the protruding plastic cover at the front of the inner rear wheel arch. It's not a serious contact, and other than that there is no fouling.
Note that I have never been able to make the tyre contact this cover during static flex testing - it's only at full flex when off-road at speed.
