Have bought our 2010 D4 a couple of weeks ago and suddenly thought about the Assistance which runs to March next year
Do I need to advise Land Rover of the new ownership ? (we have transferred our personal plate on to it)
I did call LRA and as I hadn't broken down, they said call your local dealer so despite my unwillingness to ever deal with Lookers Chelmsford I called them. Their service area was busy so I left my details and they provided their usual excellent level of service by not calling me back after 3 hours and then closed at 12.00
Can anyone help ?

I would imagine you could sort this out through any LR franchised dealer, and probably get the warranty extended for another year as well if you want to....2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

Id read the hand book (search online for it). ISTR the warrnty is only transferable if through a LR dealership or an actual private sale and is null and void if sold through an independant. This might be only for the select warranty but i know i had to "fill in my form" carefully to ensure it was transferred properly (details from previous owner on V5)
The LR warranty is valid for 3 years from registration.
Lookers Chelmsford obviously couldn't get their heads out of their arses as they haven't bothered calling back at all.
Called LR Customer Services and they updated everything for me.D4 2010 HSE Santorini Black
