Lumbar Support and Hello!

Hello All,

I am the new owner of a 2009 Discovery 3. Well actually, my dad is, but the situation is that I have bought it for him and taken his RRS off his hands (he needed 7 seats for the grandchildren and I needed a new car as I've just qualified and have a lovely commute to Yarmouth everyday!)

He is absolutely over the moon with it, and so am i, some father son bonding with leather cleaner is going on but we have found only 1 small problem.

The lumbar support seems to be constantly pumped up to 11 with no signs of going down. I had a search on here but couldn't find a solution so thought I would stick my head up and ask for some help.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks in advance,

Tommy

Hi Tommy,

Welcome to the forum.
A couple of questions,
1. Is it a HSE Version
2. Does it have memory seats ( Electric )

You may need to re-program them..............Maybe

Good luck & let us know how you go.

Richard

Hello Richard,

Yes it's a HSE. I had a good fiddle about, gave it a clean and it seemed to start working no problem.

The old jar of purple smoke works a treat it seems!

Thanks for your help,

Tommy
