Side steps

Hi,just got my new side steps.
How do you know where to cut the
holes for the brackets Confused
Is there a template I could use?
Where do I get this???

get the plastic off the car, turn them over so they face down and you will see the outlines that need to be cut, be generous on the cutting, tis an easier fit that way.

Recommend?5mm or 10mm past the line?

I went about 5 from memory, cut them with dremel cutting wheel

Hi
Just about to fit my new side steps, if it ever stops raining Sad

I was going to wax oil the sills after fitting, so that it would be hidden by the plastic covers, but read on the tin something along the lines of 'do not apply to plastic mouldings'. That put me off using wax oil, so brought a can of clear laquer in stead. Not ideal, but a few coats will be better than nothing. Confused
