BAS Intercooler Hose "Who's In"
Following on from the success of the Re-Map Interface ran over the past couple of weeks and in an attempt to run at least one group buy a month i am in comms with Pete to get the best price possible on the Intercooler hose.
Due to the fact that Pete is welded to his chair receiving Standard Maps and Pinging out Re-Mapped versions to all those who subscribed he is unable as yet to work out the best price, so we might just need to hang on a bit, but they will be priced accordingly !
The hoses will be £85 posted, this is assuming we can get a minimum order of 15 ! the hose itself is BIG ! so it will require it to be couriered out, if you are local or passing then you can pick up in person saving your self the postage making it £80 !
£85 Posted UK Mainland
Including VAT
£80 Local Pick UP !
If you turn up expecting to have it fitted please arrange this yourself ! and expect to pay for it baring in mind that when work is booked in and being carried out a long wait might ensue ?
None UK Mainland and Overseas orders will carry additional cost with regards to carriage, This will be discussed as and when you ring to arrange payment.
If we can just gauge interest at this stage then we can work out a "Best Price" on that ammount but judging by the ammount of PM's i have had since mentioning this i thought i had better add it up here.
Thanks

Aye, black of courseI know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I may be interested, following my participation in the BAS remap Group buy. However, I would like to find a user guide on what to do. Seen one post suggesting a little over an hour for the two larger pipes. Smaller third pipe seems to be ok. If no guide available, where do I look for any obvious signs of damage, accepting that internal delamination may not be visible2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.

Hi
I have knocked together a quick picture fitting guide from some pictures i have from what was taken as Billing landrover show a couple of years ago.
This will give you an idea of how easy the hose is to fit and should not take longer than 15 mins to complete.
PS, hoses can be available for non UK members but will carry an extra shipping charge on top of the forum offer group buy price.

Yes its a large hose, I think its the largest on the car and for sure the easest to change.
All the other hoses will need a bumper removal I think to change them where as this one is the most common to fail and the easyest to change,

The medium lenth pipe can be changed without taking bumper off I did it yesterday
I removed the plastic panel under the wheel arch same as you remove to do the large pipe ( other side )
And I removed the hard plastic pipe that runs from the maf across the front of the engine bay
It's a bit tight to do but manageable
