Incorrect spare wheel
Hi all,
I have a 2007 HSE with the standard 6-spoke HSE wheels but have recently discovered that my spare wheel isn't the same, and is in fact from a 2003-05 Range Rover, part number RRC001270MNH (I will attach a picture if I can work out how...!). While it is the same size, the Discovery wheel nuts don't fit in the lug holes of these RR wheels.
Does anyone know if this wheel could fit on my D3 and, if so, whether the wheel bolts are the same size on the two cars & it is just the holes that are smaller on these RR wheels? Otherwise I'm on the hunt for a single HSE 19" HSE wheel and have a RR wheel to swap/sell!
Cheers,
Ben

Did you buy the D3 from a dealer or privately?
If from a dealer I suggest you ask them to swop it for the correct spare. Must be worth a polite enquiry, ok it might be outside 3/6 months warranty period but nothing ventured etc.

Thanks for the quick response guys, will try the dealer (not main LR but a small private one) tomorrow. I'm driving to Cornwall on Friday & don't fancy doing so without a spare...!

I'm away from home at present, but I'm sure that among my pile of wheels and tyres I have a 6 spoke HSE rim with a worn tyre (Pirelli) on. I live about 4 miles from the A30 in Devon. If you're using the A30 from Exeter to motor west, I could meet up with you at Cheriton Bishop and exchange beer tokens for the wheel and tyre.
Let me know in good time and I should be able to give you an answer by Weds.

its not just a case of wheelnuts, as that style fouls the front brake calipers on a TDV6 (but is OK on a V Eight)
