Sorry to contradict you COLT but out of all the car colours I have owned over the years, Silver is by the far the easiest to keep clean - it never seams to show the dirt.1996 Discovery 1 300TDI ES Biarritz Blue, sold

No dirt or scratches. Dead easy to keep my Zambezi version clean.
I am happy to be corrected by those who own a silver D3. Any other car & and I tell you to off Stornoway HSE MY07 with Body Colour side mouldings.

Oh chris Silver is sooooooooooooo Comon
true its is a comon colour and but this one does stand out a little more that a standard HSE, did ask if there was a black one around but they only had a standard HSE in black
I am sure it has been said on here before but in black looks like a TRANSIT.
Silver is by far the best colour for the design (check all LR Advertising and DVD marketing etc) however if the lines are sullied with steps, rubbing strips it might as well be any colour as it will look cr*p
And what would you know about colour

Every owner chooses their own colour and lets face it a D3 is a D3 no matter what colour it is - No matter what the colour they all look superb. I have a Silver one at the moment because a) I liked it in that colour and b) I wanted the D3 in a colour I had not had before. I have had a black Discovery in the past and they look superb - might want a bit more cleaning but so what. If I want to keep my car clean then that again is my choice like it is your choice not too.1996 Discovery 1 300TDI ES Biarritz Blue, sold
