Puncture right on the edge

Can you fix punctures right on the edge near the side wall on tyre?
I have no idea, I sell big pipes for a living, Sorry if its a stupid question

No idea re tyre but recall from my dim distant past that that close to the corner would condemn the tyre, especially if it was a screw that did it.

If it is too close you have to have a major repair, which normally takes a few days as they send them off

Thanks, mobile tyre man came and fixed it last night, £5. Time will tell if it holds, driving to the south of france nice week Confused

The car goes in for its 5year service tomorrow I will ask them to swap the wheels over, they charge enough for the service so i'm sure they won't mind. Good thinking!
