Digital TV (?) not working

An 08 2008 HSE with what I assume to be a digital tv (says so in the handbook...) The tv, though, has yet to work. Any ideas? TIA

If it doesn't come up as an option on the screen (Nav/4x4/Settings/TV) then it isn't fitted - or the car doesn't recognise it. If it is there as an option, it is not working.....

Not sure if it was a standard thing on the 2008. Was an option on 2007.

It's definitely there. I just can't tune it.

Yes. The question I suppose is...is the optional tv digital or only analogue in an 08 D3? If analogue I can understand why it's not working but if digital there must be something not right somewhere.

The tuner is a hybrid ana\digi ....

Have you changed the the tuning perameters eg PAL N or B\G ect ?

If that doesn't work I guess the thing to check is that the aerial is connected ...have a look at this courtesy of Wiggs http://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/albums/use...ration.pdf

No picture on the TV screen

Hi All. This is my first post so please excuse any mistakes....

I've just bought a replacement 57 HSE ( after the last one was nicked....).

Unfortunately it seems to have a problem with the TV. The screen comes on but it can't seem to tune to any channel. As it searches it gets odd ghosts, but no recognisable picture. I queried it with the garage I bought it off and they say it won't work anymore due to the digital switchover. I suspect this is b*ll*cks, but could someone confirm ? Also any ideas on where to look for a problem ?
Thanks

The garage I bought my 08 HSE from said the TV didn't work. Probably covering their arsenal. They also said there was no phone connectivity and they didn't know not to apply polish to the plastic trim.

The TV is fine now. I had a problem tuning it to begin with, but it sort of worked on it's own accord after a while. Phone worked first time.
