I've run a set of zeon's for the last 4 years developed a slow punter in the n/s/r about a year ago, I noticed a few cracked in the side wall. Last week started going flat over night, checked for a punter etc, all that showed up was a slight leak from the rim. Reseated tyre and refitted. After first outing went flat again, so new tyre needed !! of the 4 its the only one to have these cracks, never been run under pressure, some though not much off roading, still got plenty of tread, always been happy with cooper tyres, run STT's on the 90 great tyre !!

Just go back to supplying dealer and get him/her to send it back under complaint, if you don't ask you don't get. Thumbs Up

Any Cooper dealer can send it back if you ask nicely. Thumbs Up

Not your fault they are no longer trading but this is why I say it's best to try and support your local dealers, who will then suppot you if you have a problem. Thumbs Up

camelrock,

How have you found the LTZ's in that size? Was thinking of those to replace the AT2's on my road rims as they are reaching the end of the line.

Hi Rich, first off I like the look of the larger size suits the car better. Handling good and there very quite. Down side is there a big wheel so older the gearing of the car, not so bad in an auto but noticeable in a manual like mine.
I don't known how old your car is but you can only fit this size tyre to 04/5 model year cars, something about a change in the chassis, makes the tyre catch from 06 on.

Thanks for the info Ian,

Mines an 07 manual but I modified the chassis to remove the offending protrusions so I could run bigger tires. The MT's are not so good in ice/snow so looking for something of a similar diameter to go on the road wheels.

Cheers,

Rich
