This is the cable for the pre 2012 D4 with the connector in the glove box lid, it enables you to charge and control your ipod through the touch screen
These retail at approx £53.00

I'm not sure whether it works with the Iphone as I don't have one, I just have an Ipod touch and I know that it charges it and allows control through the screen.
