I fitted a set of General ATs two months ago on the standard rims. I have been very pleased with them, they are capable on and offroad, and there dont seem to be too many compromises - ie road noise and fuel economy are no different.

No surprises here - I'm a HUGE fan of the Wintracs. Superb performance in a wide spectrum of conditions and an excellent wear rate. Also can recommend AJS too. Definitely know their stuff and won't rip you off. Totally trustworthy IMO Thumbs Up

My car passed its MOT on Sat. but with advisories that ALL four tyres are near the legal limit. Having trawled through this and other forums all weekend, it came down to either the Pirelli ATR or General AT. While both are well regarded, the ATR seem to provoke a Marmite effect. You either luv'em or hate 'em. The Generals had more balanced comments, and as I plan on doing a ski run trip next year to, I will fit the Gen's this Sat. after talking to Andy@AJS. The reported lower MPG does not affect me that much as I'm not a high mileage driver.

Hi powerserge

How many km do you drive with GG ATs?

From last moth as the tire will be eroded, the wheels make increasingly more noise
