Land Rover Direct - Any Good?

I'm thinking of ordering some branded parts from Land Rover Direct

Anyone any experiances of them, good or bad?

Thanks

Not from what I've found previously.

Plus I can sit here this time of night and order from LRD, without having to get on the phone or do it during office hours. Do any of the sponsors have that facility? If they do I will probably use them.

Perhaps the various sponsors would like to quote the following including delivery without me having to call them.

RDI000034, 17K3 Cam bolt x 4
RYF000203,19F2 Cam washer x 4
RYG000440, Strut Lower Bolt x 2
FX116056, 17K3 Nut Flanged x 6
RFD500020, Front Hub nut x 2

Don't get miffed DG, I'm more than happy to support site sponsors, and have done in the past, if they can offer me the best prices and service.

Feel free to remove this thread if you don't feel it enters into the spirit of things.

Same for me.
I recommend Nick, several orders with him, no problems, fast and serious, very good price and payment by Paypal.
Thumbs Up

I've used lrdirect before and never had any problems.

Think they give a range of options for the same part on there web-site.

Just ordering there and then is convenient.

However, from the feedback here TLO could be just as convenient Thumbs Up

My experience with Nick a.k.a. TLO @ Yeovil is that orders placed one working day almost inevitably arrive the next working day - prices are keen & advice & assistance is freely offered and given. Thumbs Up

Thanks Guys

I’ve used TLO a couple of times and can’t fault his service and prices for genuine LR parts.
Plus I didn’t realise he took Paypal which is very good to know.

I sometimes find it really hard to get to a phone during the day to make personal calls, so dealing with people who only work office hours is just no good for me. It’s far easier for me to use email and the internet during the day, but I find I just don’t get answers by email or PM. As we know some site supporters are just too busy to look at them.

Often the only free time I have to myself is between 11pm and 1am when the family are in bed, then again between 6am and 7am, so that’s the only times I get to think clearly and place orders.

I’ve not used LRD before, but have always compared their prices so want to try them out. As had been said they give lots of options for different manufacturers of a part which means you can have the choice. Oh, and let’s not debate the use of genuine and pattern parts here as I’ll only use genuine for some parts but not others. It’s a big subject which deserves it’s own thread.

I’ll place an order and let you know how they do.

Nasher.

Having just purchased V8 brake discs, pads, brake hoses and various other bits and bobs from TLO, I compared a few prices with LRD. Pleased to say that The Large One's prices were cheaper Very Happy

LRD is a useful site for those wanting any non LR parts though.

As an aside, I'd still use TLO even if he wasn't the cheapest, as I know that I'll get superb service. I usually phone him, but I've ordered parts from him via email as well
