BN and everybody,
Thank you for welcoming me on the Forum, and yes I bought a D3 two month ago. I bought it from a German LR dealer, it was a demonstration vehicle. The original build date is end of October 2004.
It is a TDV6 S, black (inside/outside), auto, tow bar, and lots of other goodies (I assume that the dealer wanted to show all the options to the customer, therefore ordered an "S" with almost all the options on it).
Hopefully the dealer sorted out everything on the car during the 6 month they owned it, I put already 5000km (3000 mile) on it, no problem at all (touch wood).
Also I would like to say thank to everybody on the board for all the useful information (I started to read the forum around 4 month ago, and learn a lot).
Thanks, ANLR D3 S Black, Auto TDV6

AN, you are welcome and keep posting to us. I have a very good friend Attila in Budapest and visit regularly. I stay in a hotel near the Mathias Church usually, love it. Not sure I like the Ferihegy Airport though, got hi jacked the last but one time. The guys did the usual, nail under my car tyre and it deflated near Kisplest on the E60, well planned. When I was changing the tyre, they tried to take the car. Fortunately Attila was behind and they drove off when he approached. I think it was his gun that may have made their minds up .

Thats only the half, guys, I need to write a book really. Mrs BN banned me from travel last year because of the risks of where I go and get up too. Now the doctor is having a go, can't win. Budepest is a beautiful city with a lot of lovely people. Food is fantastic and night life great. Buda is the large side and Pest the smaller side, split by the Danube, what more could you want.
Life in the old east of eurpoe is still a bit interesting, especially if you don't know the rules, but otherwise, no probs.
