Rear Offside parking Break |
|
Taling about breaks, my rear offside parking break keeps on binding. The breaking mechanism does work as it releases the nearside parking breaks. Had the nearside drum and disk cleaned and the shoes have plenty of wear still on them. Worked ok for two weeks or so, but recently started to bind again.
Any suggestions or fixex would be welcome but , willing to buy the whole kit for the rear breaks if its going to help.
Thanks Don't be blinkered vision, see the world in colour.

Thanks for the feedback, Bodsy
pa28pilot: I would suggest removing the rear discs, and checking the levers on the back of the handbrake shoes, as these are very common for seizing up, and binding on

Did you put plenty of copper grease on all the contact points for the backplate to shoes and the lever pivot mechanism? That's usually a major cause tbh. Bodsys Brake Bible
