BRAKE PAD SENSORS????

Before attempting to change all brake pads, front and rear, can anyone tell me how many sensors there are - four ? or just one front and one rear and where? near or off sides?

Dealer said at service they all need changing but would prefer to do it ourselves; just need confirmation before ordering bits from Famour Four.

Thanks.

Only 2 sensors, front left and rear right. They are not expensive.

I understand the sensor need changing evertime the pad are changed and its a pain in the butt cos the wiring has to be traced all back into the loom to find the connector.

Is there a "dummys guide to ....." anywhere ?

No they don't need changing if they are not damaged. Just be careful when you detach the sensor from the pad. My rear sensor is the original and I have just changed my pads for the third time.
