My disco 3 is not running properly when ticking over seems to miss fire
I have changed my filter but it's a none LR part runs ok for 1/2 a day then starts again
I have put injector cleaner in but no diffrent
Had my mate code reader on but nothing
Has any one had this or no why it happening

sounds very like mine was, only slightly rough at idle, ok everywhere else, no increase in fuel consumption, no smoke but at MOT had slightly high emmissions, just scraped through at the last one.
I also had no fault codes, no excessive leak off, no melting of any pistons but one did look very washed out and a I believe low compression on one cylinder, there was some misbalence showing on the diagnostics system .......... replacement engine later, but not covered by my warranty as no one has ever been able to pin it down to a specific problem
Going back to the start of all my problems, if it happened again with these same results, I would just run to destruction, it had already gone for a year or so with the only sign being a slight increase in emmissions. Joined the BMWX5 45e group
