Towing

We have just been away for the weekend with the caravan and the new to us D4. I have towed with other D4's in the past at a National tow car event and was absolutely amazed how rock steady they were, even compared to the D3. However, ours felt quite "floaty" and when going around left hand bends it felt like the car initially understeered and the suddenly oversteered (as though the r/o/s tyre dug in). It does it to a lesser degree when solo. The tyre pressures are correct and the nosewight is as it was on the D3. Is this likely to be a wheel alignment issue?

Secondly, the D4 appears to "bottom" much more than the D3 did? Anyone any ideas why this would be please?

Thank you.
