Aaaall right then, back on topic everyone.
We all know there is no chance of anything as ground-breaking as a hybrid engine going in the D4 anytime soon.
The 2013MY spec. should be announced in June-ish. Just wondered about any enhancements, minor changes to trim, bodywork etc. Daytime running lights as standard perhaps? Things often drip down from the FFRR so things like the dual-view screen could be a possibility or adaptive cruise from the RRS for instance.
Just wondered if anyone knew of anything.

My contact tells me that it is due back on to the Discovery, due to customer demand, not sure if thats US demand or UK, but its due back yes. 110 XS Utility

There had been some talk to awhile ago about the insturment cluster being the same as the FFR but thats only a rumour though 110 XS Utility

I heard that Mr Tata does not like the paddle shift and has directed that the stick shift is reinstated.

the use of the new 9speed ZF gearbox with the first two gears very very low (almost like low 1st and second) the other gears remain as normal 7 driving gears with slightly higher ratios than available now.
the diffs will have the ration raised quite a bit to allow the removal of the low ratio transfer box altogether (using just 1st and 2nd when only activated by the selection of a low ratio switch.
this will save weight and reduce backlash (apart from the die hard must have a transfer box crew)
and dual view screen inside It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.

I thought the EU directive was that everyone had to have a "hybrid" version within there product range by end of 2013 or they cannot sell within the EU
