Mikes, the model listed is for the D3 from their website so should be suitable. However, if you do go the route of the new compressor wouldn't it be cheaper through TLO (where you got the rebuild kit)?
Paddock Spares (and Island 4x4) show PN LR023964 (appears to be the AMK version) at about AUD$510 PLUS freight to Australia so it might be prudent to check what price TLO's comes in at.
I am about to explore the same avenue when my engine change is done... (mucho dollars ) LeighW
The old girl is on her third engine...
* first ran a bearing (design failure in original engine)
* second had a failure of the water outlet on top of the engine (pls check yours)

Yeah cheers joneys. I see that I'll have find out how compatible that compressor would be for the d3. This suspension drama is doing my head in. Anyway I'll get it sorted.

so I had the d3 in the shop finally today, down in the city for a few days. Fit the latest AMK compressor. Went and tested it before driving off into the sunset with a smile and what do you know, DING suspension fault comes up. I'm getting bloody ropeable with this car. ahhhhhhhh. So brought it back and showed them, cleared it then tested again and got another fault. Cleared then got another fault to come up and plugged into the computer for the third time and each time 3 different faults appeared. First was air leak in line, second was compressor was slow to rise, and the third was the compressor was too rapid to fill.
Mechanics were confused which didn't help the cause. We talked it out a bit and made a decision that common factor was air pressure. He suggested the next possible thing was to replace the "TRANSFER VALVE" I think its called or "TRANSFER RELIEF VALVE". I'm out of time to stick around in perth (back to the pilbara) so no time to get it done, because WA as usually have none in stock and need to order from east coast.
I'm having difficulty finding any info this part on this site or others. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
Any ideas would be appreciated thanks
Mikes
