General Grabber AT

Just had a set of General Grabber AT fitted to the Disco, very pleased with the ride and handling, looking forward to some green laning in Northumberland this weekend.

They were £159 each fitted, not the cheapest but not to bad and good service at Foxhunter tyres, Whitley Bay.

My scorpion zeros will be nearing the end of their life soon. Are these okay as a replacement.. Would want mainly road but some mild off roading. Wheels are 19 inch

Most popular choice from all my customers Thumbs Up

It's a tyre that "ticks" most boxes IMHO. Thumbs Up

Sean i can second that, great tyres.......i came from scorpions on 19s, what a difference only a barely noticeable road noise on m ways and i mean barely,....... great for soft roading and snow had them for a good few months, Andy is not wrong and also offers a bloody good service if your in his area.

Good question, the fitters put 36 all round, is this the right pressure for every day driving unladen ?

P.S. these tyres are so much better than the Pirelli Zeros that were on before, quiet to.

Standard pressure is fine but if you find a big loss in fuel MPG you can up them to help by 2-4psi, will give a firm ride though. Thumbs Up

Had my first try of these with a customer's 2 hour off road session on Thursday, very good in everything but soft mud where they struggled a bit but guess that's to be expected, coped well with most other terrain.

Will second that - marvellous tyres!

Great grip, no tram lining, good wear (mine are 12 months old and look good for at least another 18 months! That is a minor miracle as the Scorpions were cooked to slicks in little over 12 months.) I think I could have got 30,000 out of these tyres if I wasn't picking up my D4 next week.... with Wrangers on it Big Cry

Only issue is slight increase in fuel consumption. +2/3psi all round helps. Thumbs Up

Oh, and they look 'right'.
