Air mattress - anyone offer advice?

Looking to replace our knackered inflatable air mattress and wondering if all these things are created equal - ie are all Censored - or whether there are good ones available without costing hundreds. We had a double that was used for guest overflow and camping trips, but it has come apart at the seem and is useless. It was a cheapish one from Coleman. Can anyone recommend a better alternative, or am I off to Argos?

Many thanks.

After a lot of bad luck with multiple air beds (waking up in the middle of the night touching the floor) I eventually moved on to self inflating foam mattresses. I got mine from alpkit (www.alpkit.com). They don't make double bed versions though so you'll need to get 2 singles.

Not cheap, but much more tolerant to the rough stuff and also much more comfortable IMO, and at least IF the thing gets punctured, at least you still have the foam to lie down on.

Thumbs Up Aerobed, inflates in seconds with the rechargeable pump or run of D3, fits in the back as well with all seats flat if required Wink

Vote for Aero bed as well.
Constant steam of poorly performing inflatables from tesco's own to expensive campingaz ones - all of which eventually let you, and themselves down (quite literally Wink )

295kg I think you are a tad under that 46 stone.
