Reading the article about the D4 in North Africa ...a couple of oddities for debate .....removing the seats and using the wrong seat covers voids the warranty ....any thought as to why ? ....and MTR's were worn "considerably" after 12000 miles Odd 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Must admit I had the same thoughts......remove seats follow trip route.....refit seats before visiting dealer.....simples!

Yes I've just read that today and thought it was a bit odd, how can the wrong seat covers invalidate your warranty They are basically saying if you fit anything not approved by Land Rover it invalidates your warranty. Cheers Ian

Crap. I removed my seats to fit a fridge when I went to Morocco, and it went straight to the dealer on return for some warranty work with the fridge still in place! no questions asked, warranty work done.

They have to write something in there to make it sound like they know what they are on about !
Let's face it
When was the last time you read something in there that you actually thought !

Not sure but for example if aftermarket covers are used, they may not be airbag compatible, or they may not let the electric seats move as freely as they should and could refrain the electric motors to work as needed?
Just a thought, let's ask LR or better, maybe you should just ask the lad who wrote this rather that questioning his words in public behind his back

what I mean is, if you are not happy with the lads words, let HIM know, ask him why he says so, before telling the world (well the Disco3 world at least ) you do not belive what you read l=Oo\________/oO=l l:Ool======loO:l
