He asked if I would need a bung and I told him yes, but if it came later it wouldn't be a problem as I have a compressor. He seemed relieved!
I would guess they are on the same boat and he has a lot of back-orders to fill. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I will give APB a list of names, those that have confirmed they want a Takla Air Jack. The people in this list will then contact APB and deal direct with APB. I will pm you a secrete password to give to APB this will prevent fraudulent use of our group buy.
Those that want a jack could you please pm me as I don't want the good people at APB giving the jacks away to people that are not members of this site. I will send you the password In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

APB have just called me and the Air Jacks are now in stock Don't forget you'll need your password Thanks Andrew, for choosing that! They'll be ringing those on their list first. No idea how many they have in stock, so anyone not already on the waiting list with APB had better move quickly.
Now that really has blown my D3 budget for the month (I've set myself £200pm on "essentials" like extra AT2s, waffles, air jacks etc and have used 3 months worth in the last 3 weeks)! Sorry Non-Stick, out of the running on that CB now and still a month or two from getting a high-level intake, let alone a FrontRunner rack And then there's the Entel PMR, the compressor, extra lights....

Well that's what I've just paid after mumbling the password. Not cheap, but the best rarely is. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Hell, I've just read back through the thread and they were £212 in January! WTF? I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

VAT! It's always blooming VAT!
£212 for the jack
£18 for the bung
£10 carriage
+ VAT
£283 or thereabouts
Doh!
Edit: (And APB were very nice about it when I rang to check. Full marks!) I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

As am I but on the flat rate scheme, so no input/output nightmare for me. Backfires at times like this, but on the whole it works in my favour. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

So how do these things work then ????
Ive stuffed the spare bung up the exhaust and then tried to inflate by stuffing the pipe bung up the exhaust. It gets to about 2/3 inflated but then wont inflate any further. The bung makes a load screeching sound and a few seconds later the spare bung shot out with such force it travelled about 5 metres and put a dent in the door of my defender .
Ive tried this several times but I just cant get it to lift the wheels off the floor. On top of which I now have soot all over me and look like a chimney sweep
Help.............. Duncan
