Hi there!

Every time I open a forum page I'm forced to log in again. Cookies are enabled, there are no restrictions in browser privacy preferences and that's only with disco3.uk.co.

My system is iMac with OS Lion + Safari.

Any hint or tips?

Thanks in advance and cheers. Wink

Hi Martin.

From home. From office (old Explorer or Firefox) no problem. At home with with iPad or iPhone I'm every time logged in but with Safari and same connection if I change page or refresh I have to log in again....

There was an issue reported a while ago with iPhone Safari turning its cookies off, so please check that setting.

This problem normally only happens if your internet connection changes IP address, this is relatively common with business systems using multiple internet links.

As I told you no issue with iPhone or iPad Safari. Just with last ver 5.1.3 safari for Mac.....and cookies and authorization are all enabled.

That's a home ADSL connection with only one internet link and disco3 it's at now the first and only site where I have to logging in at every refresh. i will check again in preferences and I will search on the web if there is a solution.... Wink

Thanks again Martin and all the best.

I had a similar issue on my iPhone.

I thought it was because from my PC I tick the "always stay logged in until shut down" - not sure if that is correct.

And hence from my iPhone it was a new connection. My PC always stays logged in even if I use the iPhone in parallel

I'm having a similar issue with the site as well (thought it was just me). I'm running Mac OS X (v10.7.3) & Safari 5.1.3. All from home with a business class cable broadband connection. I've double-checked and Safari is set to accept cookies. I've not had the issue on the iPad or iPhone though, it's strictly confined to the iMac & MacBook Pro running Safari. Not sure if it's related to the site or Safari.

If anyone has any ideas I'd be appreciative. I'll keeping troubleshooting, as it is a bit of an annoyance always having to log in and not having the unread threads/topics properly marked.

Thanks,

Stuart

Happens to me all the time and has been doing so for months. As all other I'm using Safari on an Apple.
