can a MY2011 sat nav system be upgraded to look like the 2012 ?an upgrade firmware?? 10 E350 Merc

I'd be interested in this as well... especially if it includes the turn instructions on the driver info display, (oh and the radio info as well)?

Not just a case of changing the hard drive unit then? (which is what one local dealer was trying to tell me has to be done to update the mapping LOL!).... 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

Sorry new to these forums - I'm working on the basis that D4 2011 is same as RRS2011 - I have an MY2012 RRS and am trying to figure out why my sat nav doesn't appear to be the same as the MY2011 version - did they change the sat nav between 2011 and 2012 ?
Sorry to interupt but it seems you may have the answer ?

They changed the whole infotainment system on 2012MY
The sat nav is completely different G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
