Does anyone have the ideal tyre pressures for a Disco 3 with 19 inch wheels? I only tend to use it on road and it can have between 2-5 people on board. The sticker on the door says 33-36 but they look a bit low. I know it is a really basic question but the cost of fuel and tyres I think it is better to ask a basic question and have it right!
Thanks guys. D3 HSE ........................Gone!!!

I run 34.5 on the front and 38 on rear for every day use, increasing the rear psi if I've got a heavy load to carry for any distance. I use these figures on both 18" and 19" tyres and they suit me well.
It's a personal choice to suit your driving style etc. and also dependent on your tyres. Some brands perform better with a higher psi than others.
Try experimenting in the ranges 33-36 front and 36-40 rear and see how you get on.
I use my own gauge that I check against a calibrated one from time to time, as gauges are notorious for being inaccurate if not well looked after i.e those at service stations.
As for mpg, I average 27 (combination of long motorway journeys and short trips) and my Pirelli ATR's should last me a good 50k miles (18"). My 19" Pirelli ATR's would have done 50k miles, but I had some worn suspension parts that resulted in the inner edge of the n/s front tyre wearing low after 45k miles.

I have found 36 on the front and 38/42 on the rear, I run GY Wranglers and find whilst you may get a better ride with lower pressure Wanglers wear with flats on the outside edge particularly on the rear, also the steering is definitely lighter. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Hi, I run 36 front, 44 rear in all conditions, and always on road. During the warmer months, I also tow a caravan of 1500Kg at the same pressures. The D3 is on 19 inch Michelin latitudes, cannot fault the ride or the handling and they are predominantly absolutely silent.
