fitting xenons

Is it possible to fit xenon headlites to replace my old halogens without having to have any special electrical adjustments.

That may well be the case on MY10 and My11 D4's but there is apparently a different system on the MY12 as I found to my cost. They sidelights will work fine but when you switch to headlamp, the system crashes and the vehicle electrics shut down. Switch off and switch on and all is well if you replace your halogens. BBS Spy is working on the new fixes for MY12 but has no forecast for completion. Rolling Eyes

Mine is a 2012my so it looks like I might have to hang on or possibly go for hids4u upgrade, has anyone used these

IIRC all D4's will require the ccf to be updated before the lights will work, this can only be done prior to the 2012 model at the moment though. On a D3 the only problem if the ccf was not updated was that the lights would flicker.
