Grabber AT 265/65R17 will these fit ok on std 17" rims

As title can't get any Cooper 245/70R17 Discoverer ST for the love of money so looking at the new Grabber ATs on a 265/65R17.

Will the Grabber ATs fit the standard 17" rims is there any problem with scrubbing ... it may sound a silly question to those in the know, but even ringing round local(ish) tyre companies have been of limited help!

Thanks in anticipation!

I'm running 265/70R17 on my standard 17" rims. All ok.
No rubbing except under the most extreme articulation.

I think you'll be fine.

17" tyres are getting a bit dificult to come by with limited choice within a reasonable (ish) budget!

Yes it will throw the speedo out. By 2%.
When the speedo reads 60mph, you're actually travelling 61.2mph. Hardly noticeable I guess!

You won't get the spare under the car though - I have tried letting the air out but still no luck (I was going to carry a mini compressor just in case) Shame there are no cheap swing away carriers available

But Andy will it ever come out again - I tried and failed to shoehorn the Censored into the space even with no air in. whats the technique?

I thought we were talking about different sizes.

The 70 profile is quite tight.
