Nationwide Autocentre - Warranty Direct
I think I already know the answer but here goes anyway......................
Have Warranty Direct c/w MOT failure cover, emmissions, air bag etc etc. Car is now due it's 6 year service and MOT. I have a feeling that things will not go smoothly and may well need some work which will result in a claim against WD.
I was thinking (in a moment of madness perhaps) that if I take the car to thier preferred network garage (Nationwide Autocentre) for both it's service and MOT, anything that is discovered could be sorted without too much hassle ??

Do not do this. I took my wife's car with sluggish pull. They couldn't diagnose a fault. Took to diesel guy who found three shagged injectors. Had to pay diagnostics to nationwide then try and offset that against my excess. WD do not pay nationwide direct so you will not see any benefit for the monkey from the dole q working on your pride and joy and the service that comes with it. Pete

If you have main dealer rates on your warranty, take it to a main dealer.
They have been very fair with my claims, just had £1200 claim, paid within 3 werks including the Christmas break.
