Given the current promotion on 06MY HSEs to clear stock, I fear that your asking price is a tad optimistic.

Depends on mileage, which you seem to have neglected to mention!!
Assuming 10k miles, private sale, maybe £31k? On at £34k at a stealers?
Please tell me you didn't pay full list price?
Hey ho, depreciation is worst in the first year, and worst still in the first 6 months.
Sorry
Steve J2018 1.5Ti Skoda Octavia - dull as f&ck
2019 D5 SdV6 SE Anniversary - black/black - good riddance!!
2010 D4 TDV6 HSE - Nara Bronze with black - now gone!!
2006 D3 TDV6 HSE - Buckingham Blue with Alpaca - now gone!!
BMW R1200GS - also blue, also gone!!
Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin DCT - Dakar colours
Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 - the Black Arrow
I asked for a trade-in price on my 10k miles 7 month old SE and was told £10k less than I paid for it. Anyone who thinks they will only loose £5k per year is kidding themselves.

Just sold my 1 year old Honda Accord for 23k EUR. I bought it 1 year ago for 37.5k EUR. 14.5k EUR is good price for my wrong choice.

Well, it's not hard to buy a brand new HSE for £38k. Therefore, I'd guess your D3 is worth £32-34k. For a quick sale, just before Xmas, you'd have to pitch it fairly low I'm afraid.

For what it's worth I was at Blackbushe Car Auction yesterday, Hartwells had 2 D3s entered, an HSE (Aug 06) with 3900miles, highest bid was £30k..didn't sell. Also April 05 SE silver, black leather with 20k, a bid of £27 was provisionally accepted. Both were nice cars.
The above have 2 D3's both "06 HSE's with c.4k miles, up for £34,995.
This was the nearest I could find to your D3 on the Autotrader website. Maybe worth you advertising it there for £32k. Good luck.
