I ordered a a front steering guard, sump guard and compressor guard from pro-speed. Although It took a couple of weeks for my package to arrive, communication was superb. Ben answered my emails promptly and kept me in the loop where my gear was. I needed a couple of other bits for my pro-speed ladder and Ben stuck it in the post with the gear I had ordered. However, the sump guard had a problem when it arrived, all the fixing holes had been cut too small . A quick email to Ben and only two days after I posted it off ( Pro-speed arranged collection and costs ) then the new one arrived with an apology and explanation as to what had gone wrong.
I don't know if you have made contact but it may be worthwhile, even if to explain your frustration and understand the delay.
Just my two pence worth as I found them great to deal with

The sliders are really well made and do the job well. Ben and Prospeed have been very helpful but I think they are having problems with an outside manufacturer who is supposed to be making the inserts for them.
I can understand why they aren't able to offer the forum a deal when they haven't secured a supply of stock yet.
I'm not being critical of Prospeed, they have been good to deal with, I'm just impatient and hate waiting for things.MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added

They have already said they wont do a group buy. They did say they would do an Easter discount, then they said it was delayed a few weeks.... now its a month later so who knows if they ever will.
I guess if demand is out stripping supply why would they bother to discount. what I cant get my head around is the cost, for that kind of money id want the best product and id want it yesterday. Further more no one has actually seen the production inserts, which lets face it are a major selling point of this product.
I must admit this delay in any details of a forum discounted price is beginning to make me want to change my mind on buying their product. Over a month without any further news is frustrating.
I understand the product is obviously top quality (hence me wanting it) but I'm pretty close to edging towards a competitors product (as I imagine a few others would be also)Ted

Can anyone point me to some alternatives please? Well made, can be used by passengers to step in when required, act as rock and tree slider.
Ready to buy....MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)
Prospeed rock/tree sliders w/steps
HSE Winter wheels
TransK9 B24
Travall Cargo Guard
Hatchbag
I've been looking around but nothing is really floating my boat.
What I want is Prospeed to sort this thread out and give us a definitive answer on if there is ever going to be a forum discount of these or if we should just get in line and wait like everyone else that has ordered them already?Ted

Morning All,
We've been ramping up production as fast as we can but it's been very difficult to get ahead of demand and build stock, however we're almost there and we said we'd come to you with an offer and we're keen to honour that promise.
We'll have stock of rock and tree sliders in the next few days so we are in a position to launch the offer now. There is 20% off rock and tree sliders, step inserts, and compressor guards. The offer is available until the end of the month. Simply go to our shop, put the desired items into the cart and enter this coupon code to receive your discount.
Please note though step inserts are not in stock yet and unfortunately we only have limited stock of rock and tree sliders. Anybody who buys at the offer price will get the offer price but may have to wait for a second batch depending on demand.
Thanks for your patience
Ben

Hi Ben, can you elaborate on the issues with the step inserts and when they are available how do we prevent theft?Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

Hi Robbie,
The supplier is struggling to get the cut line, which is quite complex, to the quality we'd like. We will get it right though it's just going to take a bit more time.
Thanks,
Ben

Any chance of extending the offer beyond the end of the month for those who may need their next paycheck or two?
