eletric windows

hi all i have a disco 3 and have a prob with n/s/rear window it will go down but it wont come back up
help please its a 2007 thanks steve

I'd start with the switch. Swap it for one you know works or get a meter on it.

And presumably it doesn't work from the driver's panel either in that case?

Maybe try direct feed to the motor to rule that out. Take a look here: http://disco3.co.uk/forum/topic118316.html though it seems unlikely that dub01s had exactly the same symptoms. I'd expect loss of 12V to the door to mean no window up or down...

Do a search for "window up down" - quite a lot of hits (though nothing decisive at first glance).

I'm sure others will be along with suggestions of things to try.

hi mike0 yes i do have power to the motor i think its not switching over to earth to lift window up as there are only two wires to the rear motor if that makes sence
