Front and rear discs - min thickness before change

Hoping not to have to make use of TLOs brilliant brake parts offer, but suspect that I'll need new discs before I sell the car.

Can anyone advise on the minimum thickness for front and rear discs please? i.e. is there a thickness at which they need to be changed? If that data doesn't exist anywhere, at what thickness will the Stealer say change them, and how many miles are left on them at that point? My discs have a pretty significant lip on them and wondered just how much further I can go.

Tried the search function but can't find the info (and can't get past my first page of search results for some annoying reason).

Thanks.

I might be wrong but I believe LR advises to change them at 27mm.

Hi Pagoda, stealer will tell you they are below the safe legal limit on the 2nd service or 22000 miles Rolling Eyes , and over the phone you have to say oh well Ill check that out myself before I authorize you to change them.....
Then you check that they are okay, and you get another 30,000 miles out of them before you really need to change them....... Laughing

Steve,

That's good to know. Take it you don't tow?

How many set of pads in that time?
