Any way of telling which EGR is faulty? |
|
Hi,
Last week the engine management light came on. Called the dealer to book in for the next day* but in the morning the light was out. The dealer confirmed that one of the EGRs has been sticking but until the light is on again, they can't tell which one. Car is under warranty until June so hoping it comes on again soon... Presume there is no way of knowing which one?
Thanks, Paul
* when I called the dealer they sent a text to confirm the booking showing time, reg number etc. Showed the text to SWMBO with a look of smugness and told her that the car automatically books itself into the dealer hence the text. She can't stop telling her friends how clever Land Rovers are....

Should be able to tell from the stored fault codes, there are different ones for left and right I think.

From my understanding Bank A is the drivers side of the car.
