gallery lost thumbnail and total file count

All the files are in the gallery, but due to some fact, the main gallery shows two sections as 0 files, and no thumbnail. don't want to lost the individual view counts by deleting and re-uploading. Any way to fix?

I notice a lot of gallery users have a similar problem. The solution is to create a new temporary gallery, such as temp group. Then choose "modify my albums. Then choose the correct offending gallery in the upper right hand corner.. Then choose, edit files. Once your list of files are up, under "album" choose the "temp group" in the drop box for each file in the group.

When complete, choose apply modifications. All files will be moved to the temporary group, with view counts and details intact. Then, remove the offending empty group. After that is complete, rename the temp group to the original name of the group, and choose your new thumbnail. You are back in business and all file counts will now show, thumbnail, and all view statistics and descriptions will be intact.

Sorry for not picking this up earlier - I blame the festivities Very Happy

Looks like the gallery count went out of synchronisation, I'd have re-synced if I'd spotted earlier.

If anyone else spots this just let me know and I'll sort Smile
