fuel filter problem

Hi guys

I just run into a little problem. I wanted to change the fuel filter on my D3 built 2006. The Landrover dealer gave me this big silver fuelfilter on the picture below (its not a picture from my Landrover, its just to show how my new fuelfilter looks).

But I only found this filter:

Did they gave me the wrong filter? Or are there 2 different filters like it used to be in the D1. There was one in the engine bay (the big silver one) and a little one by the fueltank.

Greetings and merry Christmas[/img]

There is only one fuel filter on a D3, and which type varies depending on year.

I think it changed from the big to the small one around MY07

Both are easy enough to change, but if yours is the bigger one, make a careful note of where the fuel lines are connected (they are colour coded) Thumbs Up

Just 1 filer and if I recall correctly they changed type for MY07 (late 2006) cars.

They have given you the earlier filter, yours is the later small white canister going by your picture, good news is its easier to change and cheaper Thumbs Up

Merry Christmas
