fuel filter problem
Hi guys
I just run into a little problem. I wanted to change the fuel filter on my D3 built 2006. The Landrover dealer gave me this big silver fuelfilter on the picture below (its not a picture from my Landrover, its just to show how my new fuelfilter looks).
Did they gave me the wrong filter? Or are there 2 different filters like it used to be in the D1. There was one in the engine bay (the big silver one) and a little one by the fueltank.
Greetings and merry Christmas[/img]

There is only one fuel filter on a D3, and which type varies depending on year.
I think it changed from the big to the small one around MY07
Both are easy enough to change, but if yours is the bigger one, make a careful note of where the fuel lines are connected (they are colour coded) Never get mad - get even !!
06 D3 now gone to family member and still going strong at 265k
