Great advice
Hi, been a member a while and used the technical help to sort out the rear door latch failure, which is a money maker for Landrover. Have just gone through Bodsy's EPB bible as having lots of screeching from NS rear when putting the EPB on. At least i know what i need to do, I think
Remote parking buzzer says on sometimes when putting in to reverse but will keep on looking for a thread.
One question i do have is that my Select warrenty with Landrover is finishing in 30 days and would like advise on the best warrenty option. Seen some of the threads on Warrenty Direct and just had some literature from Landrover about their equivalent and slightly cheaper. Peoples comments on which is best would be appreciated. Also had a quote from the AA for up tp £500 for any repair work and you can do 6 a year.
Love my Lanny but want to keep on top of things as use every day, my Lightweight is so easy to fix

As far as I'm aware the lr deal doesn't cover wear and tear items, so effectively most faults could be put down to wear and tear. The wd one does cover wear and tear (at least mine does). But the wear and tear cover only starts after 90 days of cover. I think there are some exceptions, I.e if you have had a previous warranty. You need to check this. Sorry, no input on the AA one.Selling my wifes Audi A3 2.0LTR FSI DSG Sport to help pay for her D3

Yep, wear & tear starts from the off with WD if you are coming from a warranty. WD gets my vote as have had no problems with them and claims have all proceeded smoothly. Other peeps have had other experiences, some good & some bad. Pays yer money & take yer chance.

Ditto Warranty Direct. Made two claims last year - EGR and turbo. No quibble, just paid up. I think that people who have had problems can generally lay the blame with inept dealers not wording things properly.

Any experience with Warranty Wise who also offer premium cover at dealer rates with wear and tear ?
Wondering which is best i.e. the one that provides the easiest way to claim without endless reasons not to pay out
