FBH timer

Hi all, and a very merry christmas to you.
Could someone tell me if this is ok to proceed with.
I have got a webasto timer which I have tested with the FBH by cutting and connecting into the red wire which goes to pin 2 on the FBH. (all functioned ok)
But as my work can get me up and out at anytime, and should I not set the timer would the FBH still come on automatically if the engine is started and the temp is below 5 degrees.
Thanks in advance for any help
