I have had one for about a year now, the thingy that stores the maps is the ATRIc box.

It is very easy to use and doubles up as a fault code reader/deleter.

The maps are brill and it is best to go up and see Gary and the team, they make you feel very welcome and are down to earth guys.

Gary will set the maps to exactly how you want.

I have,
1. The standard map for when it goes back into the dealer Whistle
2. A map with a bit extra umf at the bottom end
3. A very powerful map that pulls all the way through the rev range like a steam train. This map smokes a bit, but that is my choice as I wanted as much power as possible.

Best to phone them though as it sometimes takes them a while to reply to emails.

Hope this helps,
Jamie
P.S. I am very happy with all my products/service from the team that I am going to treat myself to one of their sports exhausts systems, I am already running the de-cat pipe and this alone adds a lovely tone to the exhaust Very Happy

Not sure, best to call Gary & the guys.

I just know I plug it into the steering column & select the fault code reader setting. Then after a short time a list of codes appears on the screen

That looks exactly like the BAS remap box that I bought from Pete Bell, pretty much sure it wasn't £612 though Very Happy

Yes it looks to be the same unit. You download the original file from the ECU, send it to Pete, he e-mails a tuned file back to you, download it into the interface then upload it into the cars ECU. Both the tuned map and the original map are stored in the interface so you can swop them at any time.

Pete Bell will be able to give you a more detailed explanation, but basically thats it.

Both Gary & Pete use the same unit in the same manner - they simply use their own re-maps once they have your original files.

As to which is best ... seeing I haven't had experience of Pete's product, I can't really offer an opinion.

Mick
