Weird wobble!

Hi guys just a quick question that hopefully you can help me with?
When setting off on a journey ( mostly in the morning to go to work and then to come home again) my car seems to wobble as if I have a flat tyre but only for about 400 meters or so and then it is fine. I dint have a flat tyre so just wondering if anyone has any other ideas Confused

Hopefully not only put 4 new grabbers on about a month or two ago. No skidding for
Me either. It is the same if it's wet, dry or icy. I always forget to ask the gurus by the time I get home so it's not Terrible just worried it may be something more ugly brewing Shocked

Does sound like the flat bit at the bottom working its way around before they warm up enough. Clearly this only happens when it is cold but correct tyre pressures will help but you need winter tyres to make it go away.

Is the brake binding something that needs
To be sorted or is it safe once it's warm??

It does seem to make sense about the bald spot in the cold. Never noticed it before with other cars but then I didn't drive 2.5 tonnes of BEAST before Laughing I can live with that as long as it's safe!

Hay, I have read on the forum before of a wierd wobble like you describe. Apparently a gear box flush will clear it!

I sometimes get this and it seems to only happen if I've used the EPB. With an auto on a flat drive I'm in the (bad) habit of not using the handbrake.

Keep meaning to do some more thorough tests to see if it's related.

I had this around a year ago, it was EPB related, only did it for a short time when EPB had been used, I ignored it as I was working away alot over the year and never had time to look at it. The reason I found out it was EPB related was at the next service I needed two new rear disks and EPB shoes as they had wrecked the drums in the rear disks and destroyed the EPB shoes. They were a mess !!!!! I would just get it checked out to be safe.

I really hope it isn't epb related as I just changed the rear discs and parking brake shoes as they got stuck on and fried!! Shocked
